XX anniversary of Independence of Baltic states
The Latvian Union of Journalists requests the honour of Your presence at the Mavriks Vulfson's prize giving ceremony on 01 July, 2010, at 15.30 p.m. in the House of Representation of the European Commission in Latvia, boulevard Aspazijas 28, Riga. Four years ago the Latvian union of Journalists in commemoration of Mavriks Vulfsons established the prize named after this outstanding journalist, politician and diplomat. The initiative is approved and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia. The prize goes to a journalist, a politician and a diplomat and a public figure, who has contributed greatly to the integration process of Latvia in Europe and the world. For the first time the prize giving ceremony took place on 14 March 2006. This years the ceremony will be accompanied by the presentation of a book "I got married with a romantic man", written by Mavriks Vulfson's wife Emma Bramnika -Vulfsone.
